Ryan commenced racing in 1991 at 8 years old in the midget class at the Mount Wellington and Rosebank tracks in Auckland. He quickly honed his skills, transitioning from club racer to regional and national level racing, wining the first of his 23 National titles at the KSNZ Blenheim Sprint Title event in 1993.
Ryan brings extensive knowledge and experience across all aspects of racing, engine building, training and chassis set-up so after many successful years behind the wheel, it is now time to step back and invest into the future karting stars and ensure New Zealand remains on the map as a motorsport icon.
Ryan is already working with some very talented drivers and looks forward to helping in the development of many others.
